Hi Doug,
I played professional baseball and still considered a good hitter. I never had any luck with imageing a square over the pitchers throwing shoulder. I feel that is sometimes another piece of false data like Ted Williams could see the ball hit the bat imposible. I find that I just tried to see the ball as early as I could. I feel again finding the ball at the release point is pretty tough to do with the changing of the release points and pitchers that are trained to hide the ball . I am looking for training methods that can aid a hitter in this topic that I have been searching for. I want to here from people that have proven methods that will help a hitter to focus and develop locating the ball earlier so to become a more consistent hitter. Thanks for your post!!Anyone have any methods that could help develop a hitter relating to my request?

Erik,
