Hi Shawn,
I believe that a hitter should try to find the arm action if you can. I feel at higher levels pitchers keep the arms close and aren't going over the head as much so finding the arm action is almost impossible with trained pitchers. I try not to follow the pitchers motion this is what they want you to look at them. I agree with anticapating a release. I find that somewhat tough with pitchers that chang arm angles a lot. Do you or have you heard of any methods or drills that can help my request? I thank you for your post.
