Hi Sam

If your computer has the correct program, the clips should show a “Slide-Bar” just below the screen. Take your pointed to the control button on the left side of the bar and “click” on it. With my computer, this gives control of frame advance to my “left (<) or right (>) arrow keys on the key board. Some use their “mouse” to brag the button across the bar.
