Preventing disconnection?
I hear this term "disconnection" being talked about a lot, and I am a big believer in maintaining connection from the shoulders to the barrel of the bat. One thing I am wondering, though, is how to actually ACHIEVE this connection?
If you have an outside pitch, what body part will be used to reach it? The hands. But if you use your hands, I have it understood that you are disconnecting. This is an example of where my confusion lies.
Even on inside pitches...how does one maintain "connection," with reference to the hands?
