Hitter-

My understanding is that "connection" in Jack's terms means that the "rotational component" of the swing is uninterrupted from "launch" to contact. This requires that the swing radius be set by Launch and the maintenenance of the "CHP" from launch to contact.Extension of the handpath is the main cause of "disconnection".

Agreeing on definitions of terms (such as those in quotes) and how to best describe the body sequence/actions that adhere to this model can be quite variable. But I think it's a good model and worth your full consideration.
