I have been researching the various hitting approaches over the last 3 months. I have read numerous books and seen numerous video tapes. I have visited this web site, as well as other sites including setpro, epstein, eteamz and several others. I have not spoken out until I had given a fair evaluation to all the approaches.

Again, I have nothing against the other sites, and their philosophy might be appropriate for hitters with a lot of speed who can beat out a ground ball. However my son is big and slow, and his best shot is with power, and it seems evident that rotational mechanics is the best approach for achieving power.Thank you for allowing me to air my views.

> Gabe, good decision you made. I too chose to go with Jack's philosphy and it will pay off with a scholarship from UCLA. Apparently that offer caused some resentment with another poster, causing him to wonder who I was. I wish him no ill will. As a matter of fact, my suggestion to him is to put his nose to the grindstone, learning and practicing Jack's principles, and maybe he will get a scholarship too.

I chose rotational mechanics at the end of my junior year.Things are going great, I would be surprised if I'm not a first round draft pick. If I would have stuck with linear I probably would have not even been looked at. Now all kinds of scouts have approached me. All credit goes to Jack.
