My son is 11 (almost 12) and I would like to know what is the average size baseball bat the kids at that age should be and are swinging. He has a 29 inch, 19.5 ounce bat that he has had for a couple years. I believe it is too small for him.

What size bat should this age be swinging? He is pretty good size - 5 foot 1 inch and almost 100lbs. Any help or thoughts are appreciated.
