Re: Bat size for Little League

For whatever it is worth all the high school coaches I have spoken with on this issue have told me to try to move up 1 inch and 1 ounce each year to be ready for the - 3 rule when they get to the high school level. That way they are not at a disadvantage swinging a heavier bat then they are use to.

> My son is 11 (almost 12) and I would like to know what is the average size baseball bat the kids at that age should be and are swinging. He has a 29 inch, 19.5 ounce bat that he has had for a couple years. I believe it is too small for him.
