This is a very informative site. I've found
Jack's descriptions of swings very helpful. I've
tried to implement some of what he says into
my MSBL (Men's Senior Baseball) at-bats, but
the only effect I've noticed is that I seem to be
swinging late on everything now. Not that I'm
that good to begin with, but I never used to get
around noticeably late all the time. Part of it
might be that I've been working in the cages at
lower speeds, trying to nail down my swing
mechanics better. What might be some good
exercises or drills to increase bat quickness
(other than just going back to hitting faster
pitches in the cages).
