Re: Re: Re: Top Hand Release
> That is completely false. If you breakdown any hitter who swings a bat the ball is off the bat completely before they even let go of the top hand. SO it does not matter if you let go of it or not because the ball is off the bat at the point of contact. That is why some hitters do or do not it's just a comfort or psychological thing. If I rake and don't let go of the top hand I'm still going to rake weather I let go of it or not. The top hand goes along for the ride any ways the lead shoulder is your power hand if anything.
listen to yourself: the shoulder is a hand... the shoulder is a part
of the swing, just like the hand.. jimmy questioned my as to what the power hand is.. to me it is the stronger hand. if you're RH, that means that is your powe hand, & power side.. that should be the side you emphasize to make more power than the other side simply because you have greater strength there.. emphasize your strengths.
Then you want to tell me your power hand is along for the ride?!?!?
HUH?!?! by definition the power hand makes the greatest power..that's why it is called the power hand as opposed to your lesser or weaker hand.. are you so strong you can afford to diminish the power your power hand generates? logically speaking, if you can do that you must be so good you must already be in MLB... not. not with that mentality... you are telling me the weak is the strong & the strong is of no importance.. i can tell by this conversation you are having some serious problems with your hitting.
