Well, this should be fairly non-controversial----how about that Sammy Sosa, huh? 500 career home runs, most of which were sort of pushed to the opposite field. People talk about models. Well, I can't think of too many power hitters who shove the ball the opposite way the way Sosa does. Now HE is a model!!!

Can you imagine a hitter who could combine Bonds' pull power with Sosa's ability to puch the ball the other way? Many youth players have the ability to pull but so few have Sosa's ability to go the other way, and I think this is a skill that is undertaught.

'Pushing' the ball to the opposite field sounds like a top hand move. Is that what you think he does to hit to the opposite field?
