Can anyone tell me if the " Hitting for excellence" course sold by Dave Huggins is worth the money and is does it teach rotational hitting? I would like input from others that have it.

But I have been linear before, and will not go back. Rotational is obviously the way to go. Huggins is not rotational (I have seen his tapes) and if someone thinks he is "the most accurate", that is fine. But as I said, most people here are rotational believers so if someone is going to try to bring linear concepts in here, very few will be convinced that that is the way to hit. And that is another reason I am here. I am here to discuss, exchange ideas, and answer questions people might have about rotational hitting. I am open to ideas within rotational hitting, not any other form of hitting.

> Teacherman, you said that because he throws his hands to the ball and yet rotates that makes him linear. I assume you are complimenting him for being linear, but what is it he said that would make him linear? Barry Bonds says he throws his hands at the ball, and I doubt there is any dispute that Bonds rotates, yet I have heard several members of your clan refer to Bonds as "rotational". I know you like to tackle the tough questions, so perhaps you could start with this one. Best regards, J

Have you ever seen a hitter that doesn't rotate? They all do. The question is how they rotate and how their arms are connected to the rotation. There is a lower half element and an upper half element.

I've never heard Bonds talk about throwing the hands. In fact, the most recent thing I've heard from him is he catches the ball with the bat. This would mean to me that the ball comes to him and he doesn't go out to or throw the hands to the ball. In any case, video clearly shows there is not a throw involved.
