Three Ts

I got my collegiate baseball issue today and mike epstein in his article talks about his 3 T's. He says, dropping the front heel fully activates the final torquing process, whereby the force of the rotating hips yank the hands to impact. He goes on, "this singular torquing move is the root of all bat speed and power in the swing". Then he talks about his 3 t's, "when it (front heel0 drops his hips begin to violently rotate forward around the axis, his back elbow tucks in hard against his side, and his body begins to tilt slightly rearward behind the axis. The 3 t's: torque - hips lead the hands
tuck - the rear elbow
tilt - body works slightly behind the axis.

He says 95 % of hall of fame hitters do these movements. I do not see in watching video torque or this separation between hips and torso and TILT is a concept that is confusing - I do not understand it and the rear elbow tucks BUT it does more than just tucks hard into the side. Are Epstein's 3 T's more cues are are they absolutes to the biomechanical process?
