well for me i try and keep the bathead fairly close to my head and then straight down into the ball. then i point the nub of the bat towards the ball and create a point where it's almost like my hands are extended but my bat head is still close to the body then it explodes toward the ball.

kinda goes against the theme on this website though. :)
