bat speed as in bat head to the ball. that's bat speed. the shorter the time it takes over a certain distance as compared to the same distance but with a longer time. and as for me to generate good bat speed ya get the knob of the handle goin towards the ball and the bathead stayin close to the shoulder then exploding towards the ball. it's all levers and physics and etc. that's good bat speed. i was just pulling off the ball but i solved it.
