Re: Large Stride

Posted by: The Hitman (ahsnumber3@aol.com) on Thu May 2 23:36:26 2002

I have a very big stride as i swing, and this cause me to drop my back shoulder, and hence pop the ball up many times. I was wondering if anybody knew how to correct the large stride, so that i can hit the ball solid and not on my front foot?

Hey
You can try starting weider in your stance, so that you have less distance to stride, or you can try the no-stride technique. Remember when your stride foot lands you want to have an ample amount of bend in it so you don't collapse the backside. You should be somewhat near balanced when you complete your stride.
