Momentum question for Steve T

Steve-
In softball the governing bodies tried to reduce exit velocity of the ball by regulating COR.They did not however regulate compression until very recently,so while COR is limited to .44,.47 or .50,compression in bat testing is 350#(to squeeze ball 1")compresion will be limited to about 550#,but balls on the market are as hard as 750#(harder than any golf ball). How does compression figure into the equation. How far could Big Mac hit a .55COR baseball with a compression of 750#,assuming it didn't break his high performance titanium double walled bat(Is this sport out of control or what?).
