HI RED DOG > MY STORY IS THE OPPOSITE OF YOURS FROM THE TIME MY SON WAS VERY YOUNG I NOTICED HIS SWING WAS DIFFERENT . HE WAS USING WHAT I NOW KNOW WAS ROTATIONAL MECHANICS.FOR HIS AGE HE COULD REALLY DRIVE THE BALL.IF YOU ASKED ME TO DESCIBE HIS SWING THEN i WOULD HAVE SAID THE BAT KNOB SEEMS TO STAYS POINTED IN HIS NAVEL AS HIS SHOULDERS AND THE BAT HEAD WENT IN A CIRCLE .HIS HANDS DIDNT MOVE FOWARD INTO THE BALL .WHEN HE HIT THE BALL I WOULD HEAR HOW OLD IS THAT KID EVEN THOU HE WASNT ALL THAT BIG,ONE DAY HE STRUCK OUT 3 TIMES IN A GAME ON OUTSIDE PITCHES FROM A PITCHER HE USALLY HIT WELL,INSTEAD OF SEEING IT AS A BAD DAY I THOUGHT IT WAS HIS SWING WITH HOLES IN IT .I PURCHASED A SERIES OF HITTING TAPES FROM A WELL KNOWN MAJOR LEAGUE HITTING COACH WHO TAUGHT LINEAR HAND PATH PULL THE KNOB TO THE BALL.WE PRATICED THE FENCE DRILL A TO B HAND PATH AND KILLED HIS POWER. HE WAS NOW HITTING BOUNCING BALL UP THE MIDDDLE INSTED OF BALLS OVER THE OUTFIELDER HEADS WHEN PEOPLE ASKED ME WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS POWER I SAY I DIDNT KNOW I NOW KNOW IT WAS ME AND LINEAR MECHANICSAND HE NEVER DID GET THAT POWER BACK
