hi everyone. I think linear mechanics are here to stay they are being taught at least on the instructional tapes I have by the major league hitting instructorrs and x major league baseball players .they are repeated on the air by the broadcasters when a homerun is hit.They are quoted on playgrounds[ throw your hands at the ball]even when I read the mike schmidts study a book he wrote about hitting the book had many linear ideas .but when i turned to the book cover there is a photo of him hitting in a actual game he is at ball contact. and he looks to being doing what this web sites says his frount shoulder is well rotated back .his back arm is in the bent L postion and connected his lead arm is also connected across his body it reminded what mike epstien wrote in his book are we teaching what we see. I think not
