joe when i stride i turn my foot in and swing to get the bat around quicker. you could say i have no step when i stride. and as for my bat i think this way. if i hold the bat straight pointing to the sky that would be 90 degrees. so if i keep bringing the bat down it would be flat on my shoulder, 180 degrees. it would basically be a straight line.
