my name is Matt and i'm 13 years old. i've been trying a couple of knew batting stances lately and i have found one that makes me feel comfortable at the plate not tight. i'm left handed and in the stance i hold the bat about 3 to 4 inches from my face with my hands loose and my back and front elbows down. i keep my feet shoulder with apart with my knees bent. also when i stride i step about and foot maybe a foot and a half with my foot pointed to the ground with my toes touching the ground so when i turn my body i get more speed with my hips and bat. so i ask you, is this a good stance?
