Jack,

Generally, Epstein diverts most questions that directly asks him to describe the mechanics of the swing, arguing that simplicity is fastest way to success, which I believe is a cheap way of saying "I don't know;" however, recently, I think that Epstein has provided more insight into his philosophy.

I found Mikes videos to have much more tangible information in it as relates to how to teach the upper and lower half swing parts. Jacks video has good information on why a rotational swing is better than a linear swing but the nuts and bolts of teaching it are somewhat lacking. Mike also admits in his video that due to time constraints he did't cover hitting zone locations much but neither does Jack. I think we'd all like to see the next video from these guys.I don't think either of them need to defend their views.(especially against each other) Mike is basing his information on a lot more experience than any of us will ever have and Jack's studies and theories are far more extensive than most of us have the time or ability to perform.
