Do we have a verdict? I coach Little League and I have seen tendencies for Kids that keep a relaxed back elbow pop-up all the time because of a uppercut swing. I have also seen that kids who keep their back elbow up, tend to hit with more power, and have a level swing,

>at www.setpro.com there was a discussion forum......the archives still exist....aprox oct or nov 2k there was a thread called "long swing...optical illusion?".......you should get lots of pros and cons as there were about 115 posts on the subject......personally , while i think the high elbow has it's advantages, i wouldn't encourage a kid to use one or the other.....respectfully, grc....
