Re: Hitting Concerns for 10 year old in Select Ball

Posted by: Alberto (alberto@goldbox.com) on Thu May 4 10:37:41 2006

Hi Dustin, I too have a son that it's having the same problem. He was able to hit the ball as grounders and flyouts. But right now he is only hitting grounders to the infield and most of the time he strikes out or walks.

I think my kid has two problems. one he worries too much about not hitting the ball and two his swing is probably wrong. I dont know about the swing mechanics that they talk here. I think I am going to buy the video. I did not want to buy these videos because I just wanted my son to enjoy baseball and some of these videos are too complex even for myself. But he loves baseball too much now and he is in big demand in the infielder position. I guess is back to baseball school for me :)

If you find some helpful tips please shoot them to me in an email.

Thank for your help
Al
