Alfred -
Heavy bags can be bought at any major sporting goods store, like Sports Aurthority, etc. Our team got one from a second hand sporting goods store.
Try to get a canvas covered bag instead of vinyl.
We covered ours with a wool blanket to cushion the blows and hopefully avoid splitting the bag. It has held up well.
