Alfred:

Instead of using a `heavy' bag (I have enough heavy equipment to cart to the fields!), I use an old team bag and stuffed it with a couple of cheap foam mattress pads (the egg-carton type). This is much lighter to carry. I then use a rope to tie the handles of the bag around a pole, adjusting for the height of the kids that will be hitting. It has been used for a couple of months now, and has held up fairly well.
