>>> I'm looking for live hitters at contact point so I can show my players the position of the lead arm. A top down shot might be best but I need to show them the angle of the front arm across the chest and not straight out. I could also use this to show some of my coaching staff of things to look for. I have the video and just cant find a good frame reference. <<<

Hi Roger

There are a number of clips of the best hitters at http://www.youthbaseballcoaching.com/swings.html

You can study their swings frame-by-frame to contact. Keep in mind that pitch location has an impact on the angle of the front arm to the chest. It will be farther from the chest on outside pitches and on pulled balls. The position of the back-arm is also informative. For balls middle-in, it should still be back in the “L” position as the bat becomes perpendicular to the incoming ball (hit straightaway). Once again, it will be more extended on outside or pulled balls.
