I have a couple of kids who have evolved into what I call "statue hitters". They have very little, if any, pre-swing movement(loading-up) and initiate their swing from almost a dead still stance. Overall, I think they have decent swing mechanics, but lack the quickness necessary to catch-up to the hard throwers. I have tried some techniques that I have read about or seen on videos, but have yet to find anything that gets the results that I want.

There seems to be some very knowledgeable people here on this site and was hoping that you would be able to give me some advice on drills or techniques that might help me and my players correct this hitting fault. Any and all advice is welcome.
