Sir,

In regards to a 12 & Under softball player, how far apart should her feet be while at the plate? Should her feet be far apart, close, which is best?

Also, in reference to the plate, where is the optimal place to stand to stay in the strike zone yet allow a good hit? Up close to the plate or futher away?
