Hands controlled pivot??

Or pivot controlled hands. Two different ways to swing a bat. IMHO Jack teaches hands controlled pivot in other words focus on the hands and the body will follow. Other instructors (Epstein) focus on the pivot (lower body) allowing the hands to follow. Which method is best???
