It seems as if my stepson is rotating ok and he is hooking the bottom hand and pulling the front shoulder back towards the catcher. However it looks as if the top hand is right behind it in the same path and the barrel is not swinging around quick enough. Is it ok to have him push the bat straight over to the other batters box (toward the camera as the tape says) just as he begins his swing and then letting go and finishing w/a one handed follow thru. Just to get the feel of the bat head coming around?

This season he has gone from .500 and crushing the ball in the first 10 games(3 tips couple of dbls 1HR) to 0-12 w/NO Ks afew FChoices to 2nd base and a slew of pop outs to center feild.

12 yo rt handed batter.
he is frustrated and hates to bunt but that may be all the coach asks him to do at this point.
