Bow Arch

Posted by: Marty () on Thu May 6 18:57:36 2004

My son's T-ball coach is saying that a good substitute for rotational hitting would be the Bow Arch concept.First, it seems to me that six year olds should not be concerned with this stuff.Second, it seems like there is no reasonable substitute for rotational hitting. Why would someone do the knob to the ballstuff, bend the lead elbow and all when all it would do is decrease batspeed? It's different for my other son, he's old enough. But what does this mean, bow arch?I see on this site tht and all, and it all makes sense, but what is bow arch? Is it just something some internet geek made up?Thank you.
