>your dilemma seems to be no talent period,you cant fix major issues like talent dominance,but if I was trying to turn them around and teach slap I would say no,put it in play period,if you cant run or hit your offense will struggle.Make sure you try to instill confidence though because they must think they can hit and that they are better than they are so build that puff it up but also introduce new things to try if it will help them get a little better.
