Foot Angle

Posted by: Nick () on Tue Jan 20 07:09:43 2004

Put together a small clip showing the foot position of a few pretty good hitters. These guys happen to land relatively “closed”. I believe from closed to 45 degrees is acceptable, but I prefer closed, especially for younger players as it helps them get used to staying in there and not bailing. These players are solid evidence that you do not need to land at 45 degrees to facilitate rotation as some have suggested. Nick
