Whoa there killer, lets remember thats this is a kids game when it comes down to it. If a poster asking for help knows and understands the terms and concepts that are being used to help him, how isnt he learning something. You can use a very powerful tool called you mind for visualization. It works very well, especially working with hitting!

I won't argue that certain individuals who are receiving written scientific responses given on this forum will comprehend them but really, what small percentage of those "posters" are we talking about?
Those I have read are looking for more user friendly assistance that they are hopeful they can translate and then apply to come up with a hopeful solution to their problem. I doubt any one of them will come back on the forum and say..."you know...I just didn't get what you meant by "x" degree angle, axis, flexion, extension or initiation?" What they will do is move onto another site and again- try to find another simplified band aid solution they can better understand.

Would you argue that visualization through a written medium sure leaves a lot open to interpretation? Verses say a video with proven systems and with the ability to freeze frame,slow motion, frame by frame, rewind, trouble shoot etc.? A video or CD that can "show" a viewer the above noted scientific terms!

I think you are confusing this forum with eteamz or another Little League oriented site. It is not "just" a kids game...most posters on this site would agree that their are countless adults and many, many multi-millionaires playing this great game. However, teaching kids the correct age appropriate mechanics as a child ensures they continue to find a modicum of success in one of the "toughest things to do in sports" (hit a baseball) as they grow older. The perhaps, fewer kids will jump the baseball ship to go play Soccer (stats support that statement).
