Dave A,

Great response! You are correct, a person CAN learn from the written word and VISUALIZE in their mind. I learned a tremendous amount about rotational hitting through reading Tom Guerry's many posts on the Fastpitch Forum. Now understand, Tom's stuff takes some time to digest, but once I began catching on and Visualizing what I was reading, my understanding of rotational hitting really took off. Then add the knowledge this site offers through Jack Mankin and from Mike Epstein's site, a detailed picture begins to form. The purchase of Epstein's tapes helped tremendously and I plan on purchasing Jack's tapes, as well.

But, it all began with someone taking the time to write and convey their knowledge. This site, along with a few others, are invaluable to the learning process. This is a great site!
