I agree that the swing needs to be an uninterrupted flow of energy through the kinetic chain to produce power/batspeed as efficiently as possible.But I also agree on Jack's point of emphasis above.If you don't teach the right shoulder rotation and transfer mechanics,then whatever happened before is fairly inconsequential.
