Hello everyone,

I just happened to stumble onto this board. Has anyone looked into using a Ty Cobb's hands-apart grip. This this site claims that the power of a swing is derived from rotating the bat about a point midway between the hands, it would seem that hands-apart grip would help this cause.

I realize the "snap" would be lost, but it seems to me that the bat head could be controlled much better.

Any thoughts?
