Cobb is thoroughly misunderstood. In stance feet close, hands apart.
From there if he chose to slap/place, hands usually stayed apart, stride was very short, weightshift pronounced, with linear stroke.
From that same setup, he might stride long, sliding the top hand down, and swing hip-rotational. Look up the record for most homers in two days; who holds it?
