Re: no need to pull the ball

most of the power in your swing is to center. you lose bat speed and power when you pull the ball, centerfield is where your machanics can hit the furthest. not to mention the most consistent. I hit a softball about 330-340 to center, abot 300 to left. Keep going to center and don't worry about it.


With all due respect, where did you come up with this information? I am aware of studies that show a ball hit the opposite field is hit on average about 15 percent less far than a pulled ball. But your statement defies reality.
