I was thinking the same thing Teacherman. I see LOTS of bellybuttons facing the pitcher.

you guys are cute! sure you see belly buttons faceing pitchers,because it is located right above the hips and the hip explosion is a must. but this web sight says the chest is facing the pitcher as well, before contact and that is not the case. the torso has a soft flexible area between the hips and the ribs, right where the belly button is, it is possible to have your hips facing one way and your chest not facing that same direction. it is part of the bad word "uncoiling" of a hitter, the way it has been for a hundred years. i have no problem with innovation, but full simaltaneous torso rotation before you contact the ball is going to pull a hitter off his contact.
