Thanks for the post. Im not totally sure I understand it yet but will read it through a few times.... I had always taught to drive through the ball ...Much like breaking bricks in Karate .. You build up hand speed, the force starts from below and your focus is beyond the blocks.
> I know this is quite different as you have a moving object in a baseball but when you hit the ball, the power built up would have to continue I would believe. I guess im doing it wrong as the heavy bag I practiced on moved when I hit it.

......From Joe Hdz. The analogy to martial arts with regards to brick breaking is no where near the same. In brick breaking you also have the "uppermost brick involved in "breaking" the lower brick and so forth in a "dominoe-like-effect"...not to mention that it is not a moving object.

I strongly suggest you make a small investment and purchase the video...you will understand a lot better.

With regards to Bruce Lee and "hold his fist 1 inch from his opponent...drive a man back 15ft"...this is pure fiction. First bruce Lee never did it other than in the movie "Enter The Dragon" or perhaps you saw him as Kato in the Green Hornet series. I had an opportunity to see Bruce Lee at Madison Square Garden in the late 60's as a student of the Martial arts and he was incredible...but let's stick to hitting a baseball and what humans can really do.
