I am curious about this as well. My feeling is that your guy is right on. I feel like the important thing is, at launch to have hands outside the back shoulder. I'm not sure, but I feel like hands in front of (inside) the shoulder will cause a leak of power. With the ultimate goal being the last link in the chain - the barrel - applying the most pop, it seems your guy has the way. Mauer, for example, has his hands in front of the shoulder though. A great hitter, but maybe he loses some power there? He is too big to not hit 30-40 plus every year.
