I'm glad you posted this note. I just bought the Mankin tape and watched it twice already but not ready to claim to be an expert. I downloaded that clip and thought, she's doing rotational hitting.

I have a book from Louisville Slugger on the 50 most common hitting faults and how to correct them. It is a linear books but all the still photos of the great hitters shows them using rotational mechanics. You would laugh, they show Barry Bonds cocking his bat before his swing and call it one of his "flaws" but he is strong enough to overcome it.
