Nick-

You should check out the pitching central pitching boot camp videos if you get a chance.Things go in and out of vogue.The presenters here are really on the bleeding edge in a good way.Pitching and hitting are very similar in the early stages.For pitching,what to do with the lead arm(what's a "good teach")has waffled back and forth over the years.This is extremely relevant to what the front elbow needs to do in hitting to set the swing radius and connect tightly.If you are interested or have the pitching feel,it will be possible for you to recognize the same feel as well as the feel of the sequence prior to this(hip cock/scap load)in hitting.
