Just wanted to give my two cents on this discussion. My daughter is 15 and is 5'5 at about 140 lbs. She works out with a 34" 30oz. bat and swings in a game a 34" 27 oz. Miken bat. You can get them but they just don't show up in the catalogues. You have to ask for the heavier weight. They don't advertise to the women because most woment or girls dont think they can handle a heavier bat. Not true. Good mechanics and good instruction is the key. We only have to overcome the coaches that say " They can't swing a bat like that" >
