Cubs vs Diamondbacks Jack, All. Can anyone explain why hitters do not make adjustments to catch up to fastballs off the closers. I could not help but notice that Fontenot, Derek Lee and Aramis Ramirez had no chance catching up to the Diamondback relievers fastball. Even Soriana looked passive on fastballs right down the middle of the plate. Explain?
