Why are they catching up with a guy throwing 90, if the guy in fact can throw 90? Why does a guy have far less success, than say a Pedro Martinez? Location, control, movement? That's why! On average, most guys at that level are gonna be able to catch up to a 90 mile per hour fast ball. And you're making this word "rotational " sound as though it's some new revelation! Of course parts of the body rotate, it has to. You say the linear movements of the qurterback aren't nearly the provider that the "rotational " ones are. Who the heck cares if they're more or less a provider? "ALL" these movements are all very important. Barry Bonds is the greatest hitter of all time?!! If you took all the crap that he's put into his body regarding"DRUGS"..He wouldn't look much bigger than he did when he first came up..and that wasn't big at all!! Isn't it kind of a coincidence, that he began hitting the ball 27 miles into the night, later in his carreer, as he got bigger, and bigger, and bigger?

He is the most efficient at the rotational mechanics, therefore he has one of the quickest bats, and therefore he does what no one else can do.
>>>>Question.....If Bonds has the best and most efficient swing in the Big Leagues, why has he become a better hitter in his late 30's? He had a great swing when he was in his 20's too, but not near the stats that he has now. My opinion is that he is a lot stronger and a lot smarter hitter now with outstanding patience. And he has a great swing. >>>>
