EVERYONE!!Please tell me you're really not that obsessed with the physics that you talk about,(any physic majors out there?), or the space between the elbows, or maybe the height of the elbows,or maybe, just maybe, the space that exists between the bill of the batting helmut, and the top of the eye brows?!! I have no idea who the heck Coach C is, irrelevant, but he did bring out a very important word;rhetoric. May I give you the advice of a 43 y/o man that has gone thru all of this junk? Number 1, get a video of the top 5 hitters in the history of the game, thats right, look at footage of even the Babe. Do you really think he was overly preoccupied with the endless amount of details that get stated in here? I know a percentage of you definitley don't want to hear this, and this may be "earth shattering", but, are you ready? Babe Ruth held his bat, positioned his feet, hands, back, head, his butt, his cap, his wallet, and maybe even a beer, and a dog in his back pocket, in a way that "WORKED FOR HIM", period. That's it. He saw the ball, and when he did, his weight went back, in order to come forward to strike an incoming object. No physics, no science, just plain ole in your face instincts and common sense.Again, earth shattering, but he hit off his front foot. I don't even wanna go down a road with someone that has convinced themselves that anyone including a hitter, that needs to strike something as hard as they can, ie boxer, quarterback, golfer, even a pitcher. They all have to get back to go forward! My second word of advice..GET A LIFE!! Maybe I should take my own advice:)
