Hi Joe,
I don't really understand BHT..how do you teach the bottom hand pulling back? I'm behind the learning curve here, as I teach the front elbow up at contact as a desired position (back elbow high then a swivel, if that makes sense.) I can't wrap my head around the bottom hand pulling back, nor can I feel it when I swing. I must be missing something conceptually because I can't even identify it on film. I am trying to keep the hands as flat as possible once they get in the zone for as long as possible...is that close? My hardest hit balls are when I consciously use my back, and feel like I am pulling with my lower back backwards.
